How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Many weddings book 6–12 months in advance, while corporate events often reserve 3–6 months ahead. Last-minute availability is sometimes available, so don’t hesitate to contact us.


Is my event date available?

Availability changes daily. The fastest way to check is by contacting us for a custom quote. We’ll confirm availability and recommend the best photo booth options for your event.


How much does a photo booth rental cost?

Photo booth rental pricing depends on the experience you choose, rental duration, event location, guest count, and customization options. Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, trade show, or private celebration, we’ll create a custom package that fits your event and budget. Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A signed agreement and deposit are required to officially reserve your event date. Once your reservation is complete, your date is secured. The remaining balance is due before your event.


Can I customize my photo booth experience?

Do you provide props and backdrops?

Yes. We offer a large collection of premium props along with fabric, sequin, solid-color, patterned, and luxury backdrops. We also create fully branded backdrops and custom step-and-repeat walls for corporate events.


Can we use our own backdrop?

Absolutely. We’re happy to work with your existing backdrop, flower wall, venue installation, branded display, or custom step-and-repeat.


Do guests receive printed photos?

Yes. Depending on the package, guests can receive professional-quality prints within seconds. We offer photo strips, 4×6 prints, multi-photo layouts, branded designs, and other custom formats.


Can guests instantly text or email their photos?

Yes. Guests can instantly receive their photos, GIFs, boomerangs, videos, or AI images by text message, email, QR code, or an online gallery, depending on the experience selected.


Do you offer unlimited photo sessions?

Yes. All of our staffed photo booth rentals include unlimited sessions during your rental period, allowing guests to visit the booth as many times as they’d like. The only exception is experiences specifically designed with custom limitations, which will be outlined in your proposal.


Are all of your booths attended?

Yes. Every rental includes a professional team member to assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. The only exception is our Digital Selfie Booth, which is designed for unattended operation if desired.


Do you offer AI Photo Booth experiences?

Yes. Our AI Photo Booth creates unique, AI-generated images based on custom themes, branding, characters, professions, holidays, sports, superheroes, fantasy concepts, and much more—making it one of our most popular experiences for corporate events and activations.

How much space do you need?

Most of our photo booth setups require an area of approximately 8×8 feet to 10×10 feet, depending on the experience selected. Some booths, such as our 360 Video Booth and Multi-Camera Array, require additional space. If your venue has limited room, we’ll recommend the best photo booth option for your space.


Can your photo booths be used outdoors?

Yes, as long as the setup area is protected from rain, excessive wind, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. We’ll help determine whether an outdoor setup is appropriate for your venue and recommend the best location for reliable operation.


How early do you arrive?

Our team typically arrives 60–90 minutes before your event begins to complete setup, testing, and quality checks so everything is ready before your first guest arrives.


Is delivery, setup, and breakdown included?

Yes. Every rental includes delivery, professional setup, testing, breakdown, and removal. Our team handles everything so you can relax and enjoy your event.


Is there a minimum rental time?

Our photo booth rentals have a 3-hour event minimum to ensure the best guest experience and allow ample time for everyone to enjoy the booth. If your event requires additional coverage, we offer flexible hourly extensions as well as full-day and multi-day packages for corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and special activations.


Do you travel outside of Chicago?

Yes. We proudly provide photo booth rentals throughout Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, across Illinois, and nationwide. Whether your event is local or requires travel, our team can provide a customized quote based on your location.


Do you have backup equipment?

Yes. We bring backup cameras, printers, lighting, cables, and other essential equipment whenever appropriate. Reliability is a priority, especially for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale activations.


Are your photos high quality?

Yes. We use professional cameras, studio-quality lighting, and premium printers to produce sharp, vibrant photos that guests will actually want to keep and share.


Are you insured?

Yes. Magic Moment Photo Booth is fully insured and can provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs) upon request when required by venues, hotels, convention centers, or event organizers.


How do I reserve my date?

Simply contact us for a personalized quote. Once you’re ready, we’ll send a reservation agreement and deposit invoice to officially secure your event date.
